Set in the idyllic Village of Kennford in the heart of the glorious Devonshire countryside, The Seven Stars is a real country pub that serves good, honest food to the highest standard alongside a wide selection of Beers, Wines, Spirits and soft drinks. We have award winning Bays Best on hand-pull, a Real Ale from Paignton, that really has the most delicious flavour and is a well balanced, clean and crisp session beer with a dry and hoppy finish. ABV 3.7%
Our Restaurant
Our traditional style pub-restaurant area has 9 tables keeping it cosy and intimate and ensuring that our waitresses are able to take more time in looking after your needs whilst you dine with us. We have quiet background music and soft lighting to help you relax. When the weather starts to take a turn for the worst you will find the real Log and Coal burning fire lit giving out masses of flickering light and a warmth level that could easily be described as "toasty!"
Skittle Alley & Function Room
The Function Room is very tastefully decorated and has a stage and comfortable table seating for approximately 40 people. This figure decreases if the Skittle alley is to be used for a function, but we are licenced to hold a maximum of 80 people, both seated and standing. Our Skittle Alley is to Competition League standards as we have 3 teams in the Exeter League! We've also now reformed our County-Famous Tug-Of-War Team after a split of many years!

When organising a function, we realise that cost is a huge consideration with the Credit Crunch. We want you to enjoy your time with us and not worry that it's costing you an arm and a leg! If you join us for a function we have a basic Room Hire Charge, but if you decide that you want to have a buffet with us, then we waive the Room Hire charge!
We do 3 different buffets:
cold finger buffet - £4 per head
Assorted sandwichesRoast potatoes (or chips)
Pineapple & cheese on sticks
hot finger buffet - £6 per head
Same as cold buffet plus:Sausage Rolls, Chicken Drumsticks & Sausages covered in our Sticky Maple coating
hot meal buffets - £5.25per head
We also offer a few options for hot buffet meals: Jacket Potatoes with Cheese, Tuna, home-made Curry Sauce & ChilliHome-made Chicken Curry & rice (and/or chips)
Home-made Chilli Con Carne with rice (and/or chips) (vegetarian chilli available by requesting at time of booking)

We have quite a few companies use us as a easy to get to location for training courses - some companies use our skittle alley as part of a team building day which they host with us, some for office parties!We have our own car park opposite the pub which can hold around 10 cars and there is plenty of on-street parking available around us.
